Key Functionality
Re-usable Components
Where security settings are common across a number of users or roles, they can be defined as re-usable components and assigned to the relevant users. Any changes to a component are automatically applied to all affected users. A starter set of Components is provided and can be modified to suit your specific needs.
Adhoc Segregation of Duties enforcement
A starter set of Segregation of Duties rules is provided, which you can tailor to fit your own business structure, or you can import existing rules supplied by your auditors or designed yourself.  Mitigations can be applied to allow flexibility to accommodate and explain temporary breaches of SoD rules (for example, when employees need to cover for absent staff or vacant posts.
Rapid security set-up
The QuickStart function largely automates security set-up by capturing any existing security settings, converting them into re-usable components and assigning them back to the relevant users and roles.
Security validation prior to commit
All security settings and changes are validated for conflicts or SoD violations BEFORE you commit them to the F00950 security table.

Automatically secures hidden programs
E1Config identifies all the hidden and associated programs called by the headline applications and secures access to them.

Multiple Roles
Where roles-based security is used, users can be assigned multiple roles, catering for situations where staff perform several business functions or need to temporarily cover for absentees.

Fully auditable security
All security changes can be audited and you can produce reports quickly and easily to satisfy your auditors’ requirements and prove the rigour of your controls.
