Q Software Announces General Availability of Q Software for JD Edwards EnterpriseOne V5.2

Includes Support for New Security Types in JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Release 9.2; New Admin Control Manager Module Streamlines Time-Consuming Administration Tasks; Fraud Detector Monitors Changes to Critical Data

Denver CO, November 30, 2015 – Q Software Global, an Oracle Gold Partner, has today announced the general availability of V5.2 of its suite of security, compliance and productivity tools for users of Oracle JD Edwards EnterpriseOne.

New features introduced in the version include:

  • User Defined Object (UDO) security components to support the new Security types that Oracle has introduced in Release 9.2 and simplify UDO security management.
  • Admin Control Manager: a new module designed to simplify common JD Edwards maintenance tasks, enabling customers to delegate them to help desk, support staff or administrators rather than expensive CNC/technical experts.
  • Fraud Detector: powerful auditing tools which can alert customers instantly to suspicious changes to critical data and enable them to investigate them much more easily.
  • Integration with CD Group’s E1 Page Studio to enable users to generate E1 Pages and their security policy directly from Task Views with just a few clicks.

“This release continues our commitment to streamlining complex processes for JD Edwards customers,” said Mike Ward, Vice President of Q Software. “For almost 20 years our solutions have made it much easier for our customers to manage risk and compliance. The introduction of new productivity tools furthers our aim to help customers to benefit from efficiencies in other areas, such as JD Edwards administration.” V5.2 is available immediately.
