For many Audit and IT staff, the external security audit is the nightmare time of year. Unfortunately, the security of your ERP system can be a challenge to understand, and the necessary reporting can be very difficult to extract. The auditor focus will be on Internal Controls, and many companies simply do not invest heavily enough in automating these areas.
